Stewardess Board and Deaconess Board

       Under the direction of the Pastor and Steward Board, the Stewardess Board assists both as directed. Duties and responsibilities include the following:

•To prepare the Elements for the services of Holy Communion, Holy Baptism, and Love Feasts

•To assist with special services such as weddings, funerals, or candlelight services as requested.

•To care for the Altar and the space in the Sanctuary which is enclosed within the Chancel area

•To care for and change the paraments to the proper seasonal color; linens, Baptismal Font and all items associated with worship and special services as needed

•To assist the Stewards with financial responsibilities as needed

The work of the Board is a sacred trust, and calls for women who are consecrated to the task, and who are willing to place love for Christ above personal feelings.

The Stewardess and Deaconess Board meets Friday before the First Sunday of each month at 7:00 p.m. For more information contact the Church Office
