Welcome to Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, which was founded in 1857 and has been a beacon in the Ann Arbor, Michigan community. Here at Bethel things are happening and people are working together to advance the kingdom of God. We invite you to worship with us each Sunday at 10 am

Our Mission

The mission of the AME Church is to minister to the social, spiritual, and physical development of all people.

Our Motto

God our Father, Christ our Redeemer, The Holy Spirit our Comforter, Humankind our Family.

The Power of Prayer

Our greatest resource as a people of faith is the resource of prayer. Prayer allows us to access the power, presence and promises of God. We believe God to be the source of healing, and wholeness, and we pray that God would heal our land as we call upon him.

We invite you to join us for our daily prayer call, Monday – Saturday, at 7:00 a.m.
